We had the honor to have this brand new 2024 Rivian R1T in to get a handful of work done including Paint Protection Film, Ceramic Window Film and Glass Ceramic Coating. This groundbreaking electric pickup truck represents a fusion of cutting-edge technology and rugged capability, designed to redefine what it means to explore off the beaten path.
Decontamination and Polishing
Our journey with this Rivian R1T began with a thorough wash to cleanse its exterior from any dirt or grime. But we didn’t stop there. To ensure its pristine appearance, we carried out an Iron Decontamination process, followed by a meticulous Clay Bar treatment and Machine Polish. These steps prepared the canvas for the protection that was about to take place.
STEK Graphene Ceramic Window Film
We then focused on the privacy and protection of the interior of the vehicle. We used the state-of-the-art STEK NEX Ceramic Window Film, known for its performance. The 2 front windows received a 20% VLT (Visible Light Transmission), striking a balance between style and functionality while matching the rear windows. The rest of the vehicle received 70% VLT over the existing privacy glass and windshield to extend the 97% infrared heat rejection across the whole vehicle. With the increase of heat rejection the overall performance of the vehicle is benefited, using the AC less improves efficiency for a longer range.
On the outside, the windshield and two front windows also received GYEON’s Q2 View Ceramic Coating. This highly effective product delivers intense hydrophobic properties and repellency, ensuring that your windshield remains clear in extreme weather conditions.
