Paint Protection Film and Polishing
We started with a fresh canvas — the vehicle straight from the dealership with only 8 miles on the odometer. Our mission? To ensure lasting beauty and protection for the proud owner. We began by carefully washing and decontaminating the paint. This step removes any impurities or residues that might interfere with the pristine finish.
Next, we machine-polished the exterior to smooth out imperfections and restore the vehicle’s luster. Keeping in mind the client’s concern, we took an extra step by wrapping the exterior of the Camaro with STEK DynoShield. This Paint Protection Film is specifically designed to prevent rock chips and scratches. The good news? STEK DynoShield does all this while being virtually invisible over the factory gloss paint.
Matte Protection Film and Window Tint
STEK DynoShield ensured that the gloss paint of the vehicle was protected, but what about the matte pieces on the exterior? Think about it: applying gloss paint protection film (PPF) over matte pieces would compromise the matte appearance of a Camaro. This is where STEK DynoMatte comes in; this hydrophobic and stain-resistant film is designed to match the factory matte finish of an automobile.
Next, our team employed STEK Action Carbon Film 20% VLT to the car for a privacy upgrade. This window tint blocks up to 99% of harmful UV rays, safeguarding the vehicle’s interior. Wheel and Glass Ceramic Coating
As a courtesy, while we had the wheels removed for Ceramic Coatings we dropped them off for the owner to get some more street friendly rubber installed. He chose some Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
Once they were back, we applied Gyeon Q2 Rim, a high-temperature-resistant wheel coating. This shielded the vehicle’s wheels from brake dust, road grime, and oxidation. This way, the wheels not only stay matte but are also easy to clean, contributing to the Camaro’s longevity and aesthetics.
To seal the deal, we went for crystal-clear visibility and applied GYEON Q2 View to the glass with Ceramic Coating. But why did we do this? Well, Q2 View gives you a clear road view by repelling water and dirt, especially during challenging conditions. In essence, this advanced coating comes with high-quality water repellency and makes cleaning a breeze.
Our commitment to excellence doesn’t stop at application; we go the extra mile to cure the coatings thoroughly. Using our short-wave infrared curing system, we expose each section to 120 degrees for 20 minutes. This ensures that the coatings bond seamlessly and provide long-lasting protection.
Personalization—Your Car, Your Way
Every vehicle is a reflection of its owner’s personality. Apart from performance upgrades, we ensured our customer could personalize their Camaro by adding a few finishing touches. We installed mud flaps, jack pods, clear LED side markers, and other customer-supplied accessories.
