Decontamination and Polishing

The first step in the process with this Z06 began with a thorough wash to cleanse its exterior from any dirt or grime. But we didn’t stop there. To ensure its pristine appearance, we carried out an Iron Decontamination process, followed by a meticulous Clay Bar treatment. These steps prepared the canvas for the protection that was about to take place.

STEK DYNOshield Full Vehicle Paint Protection Film

With any new vehicle there’s always main concerns of your everyday road hazards, such as rock chips and scratches. Even things like chemical staining and paint oxidation, that’s exactly what sparked up concern for the customer and his brand new Z06. 

The customer ultimately went with STEK DYNOshield on the entire vehicle. This high-quality film is a marvel in the world of automotive paint protection, offering unparalleled clarity, durability, and self-healing properties. Every painted panel of the Z06 was meticulously covered with this film, safeguarding it against scratches, chips, and environmental contaminants.

Level 2 GYEON Infinite Ceramic Coating

We then moved onto GYEON’s Infinite Level 2 Ceramic Coating. This all started with a deep clean on the exterior, decontamination of the paint, clay bar treatment and a light machine polish which was all previously done before we applied the Paint Protection Film.  

Within the Level 2 package you get 2 layers of Ceramic Coating and a Glass Coating on the Windshield . Our customer went with this option because of its increase in hydrophobic properties which allows for an ease of maintenance on the paint. It also receives that second layer of Ceramic which allows for a deep gloss and shine which absolutely took this Z06 to another level. 

Wheels Off Ceramic Coating

Our Wheels Off Ceramic Coating offers advantages due to its unique properties and application method. This all starts with an in depth Coating within the Wheel Barrel, Wheel Face and Calipers. This allows for that glossy shine that everyone looks for on their wheels. You’ll  also notice a reduction in grime and brake dust accumulation, resulting in fewer washes and easier maintenance.

Interior Ceramic Coating

On the Interior we used Gyeon’s Q2 Fabric Coat which was applied to all the Carpet and Floor Mats. If you are looking to protect your textiles and fabrics from spills, UV degradation, and general dirt and grime this is a perfect solution. 

We also used Gyeon’s Q2 Leather Shield on all of the leather within the interior. With a leather Ceramic this allows for protection against discoloration, UV rays, and any dirt or liquid that might be spilt .

Window Tint

The last thing to do was to enhance the aesthetic on the outside. We did just that with STEK’s Action Premium Nano Carbon Film. The customer wanted to keep that dark look on the outside so he settled with 5% VLT (Visible Light Transmission) on the sides and back, this also offers a 69% IR Heat Rejection. On the other hand the windshield received STEK’s NEX Graphene Ceramic Film. We did a 35% VLT which still allows for the dark look on the outside, while offering a 97% IR Heat Rejection.

After 2 long years of waiting for his 2023 Corvette Z06, it’s safe to say that his expectations were exceeded. All the boxes were checked, from safeguarding the exterior from unwanted road hazards, protecting the interior from discoloration or spills, allowing ease of maintenance on the wheels and exterior.
